There is a unique thrill in the arrival of a "Touring" provider. These are often top-tier companions from major hubs (London, NYC, Paris) who travel to other cities for short, exclusive residencies. Catching a tour is an opportunity to meet someone who is otherwise geographically inaccessible. However, because their window is short—often just 3 to 5 days—the competition to secure a reservation from our elite network is fierce.

The Early Bird Strategy

Touring providers often announce their schedules 2 to 4 weeks in advance on social media (X/Twitter is the industry standard) or their websites. The moment dates are announced, the "pre-booking" window opens.

Do not wait until they land. By the time their plane touches down, their prime evening slots are likely gone. Send your inquiry immediately upon the announcement. State clearly that you are aware they are touring and wish to lock in a slot before their calendar fills.

Deposits are Standard for Tours

While we generally advise caution with deposits, touring is the exception to the rule. Because a touring provider has limited time to earn against high overheads (flights, hotels), cancellations are devastating. Therefore, a deposit to secure a slot is standard practice for tours.

Ensure you have vetted the provider (see our guide on verification) before sending funds, but be prepared to pay a portion upfront to hold your place in line.

Flexibility Wins

If you want to see a top-tier star during a 3-day tour, you may not get your preferred Friday night 8 PM slot. Be willing to meet for a late lunch or a Tuesday afternoon drinks date. Providers appreciate flexible clients who can fit into the gaps in a dense schedule.

Pro Tip: Ask to be on the "cancellation list." Tours are chaotic; flights get delayed, and other clients flake. Send a polite text saying, "I see you are fully booked, but if a slot opens up on Wednesday evening, I can be ready within an hour." You effectively become the hero who saves her lost hour.
